The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions on the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it can be alarmed with regard to the higher variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the substantial variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The assistance point designed for intervention encounters a large influx of probable beneficiaries, that makes it difficult to the office to attend to all status sassa people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more resources to help the servicing of all customers and maximize entry to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
